Beaches are the best places to travel, in almost all seasons, accept then during rain. Beaches are the places where you can experience the Sun and the Sand and unexpected rains too, with moderate or no cold at all. India has a rich heritage in beaches also. A place where you enjoy the utmost and can relax like never before. When it comes to Beaches, almost all southern states in India have beaches. Below I'm going to mention the best beaches in India to take up on your next tour. The coastal areas have one of the most famous cuisines in India, and because of the sea, all the fresh food.

1. Agatti Island Beach.

 

 

Agatti is situated in the union territory of Lakshadweep. It's around 7km long Island. However, entry to Agatti Island is under strict regulations. You are to obtain permission from Lakshadweep administration for either a visit or an entry. And your entry permit will be issued only when you have a confirmed place to stay. Lakshadweep is connected to Cochin by a sea root and by air travel as well. Agatti Aerodrome is the only airport in Lakshadweep, and you can take a flight from Cochin, and if you are keen on spending some time in the sea, then it would take around 15-20 hours of ship route to reach here.

Agatti Island Beach is situated in Lakshadweep. It is still very less explored and, therefore, clean. The beach has white sands, and the coastline is covered with Palm and Coconut trees. It is a traveler's paradise. For this place will give you time enough to enjoy, dive, do some kayaking, and soul searching as well.

There are only four places to stay in Agatti beach, namely - Agatti Island Beach Resort, Red Corals Beach Resort, Seashells beach resort, and Coral Paradise Beach Resort. If you want to travel to the island, you can take a bicycle to stroll around the island. Agatti is just one of many beaches in Lakshadweep; it has many more beaches like Kadmat.

 

2. Radha Nagar Beach - Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

 

 

Andaman and Nicobar Islands is a group of seven major Islands. Radha Nagar Beach is found in Havelock Island. So to reach here you can take a cruise from Port Blair and to reach Port Blair, you can take a flight from Chennai.

There are government and private cruises that will take you to Havelock in about two to four hours. This beach is famous amongst the honeymoon couples of India, as you can take the most amazing " kodac" pictures there, or perhaps indulge in some soul searching. If you are more like an adventure junkie, then Elephant beach is the best for you; it has lots of water sports, scuba diving, and a lot more.

If you were waiting to explore a beach with white sand, then this is the place for you. Marari Beach Kochi has beautiful a beach with white sand, unlike the sand in other beaches of Kerela. The Bangaram Atoll was opened for tourism in 1974, but it was difficult to reach the atoll because of the lack of commercial flights. The tourism on this beach developed only after the Agatti Aerodrome was opened to commercial flights from Kochi Airport. A nearby Island called

8. Ross Island - South Andaman Islands.

 

 

This Island is situated around 3 km from east of Central Port Blair. Ross Islands official name is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island. This is the island where no civilians are allowed, but the rickshaw that you'll hire will show you around the island and tell you the entire history. In this island, you'll find many peacocks, deers and dense forests, frequented by rain. The island has ruins of the officers who used to live here around 70 years back, which is a beautiful cite as of now.

 

9. Kannur - Kerala.

 

 

Kannur is situated on the coast of Kerala. The nearest airport to Kannur is Cochin International Airport. It is very well connected from all the main cities through, bus taxis and Railway station. Pondicherry is also known as the French capital of India. But if you are looking for water sports, then Paradise Beach and Karaikal Beach are just perfect place for you to hang out, but if you are looking for surfing, then serenity beach is ideal for you. And if you wish to spend some time alone, then the right beach for you is Mahe Beach.

11. Puri Beach - Orissa.

 

 

Puri is situated in the state of Orissa. It has a beach of the same name. This is yet another beach on the shore of Bay of Bengal. Puri is famous amongst tourists for its golden sands and Hindu temples. The famous temple for which many tourists visit this Puri is Jagganath Temple. Puri is very well connected to all the major cities through Buses, Railways and Airways. There is an annual Puri Beach festival held at the beach.

And the nearest Airport is 60 Kms away in Bhubaneswar. Being a sacred Hindu place, Puri has a lot of pure vegetarian restaurant and International cuisine too. Malpe beach is situated about six kilometres west of Udupi in Karnataka. This is a natural, and one of the most important ports in Karnataka, it is also known as a fishing harbour. This is one of the first beaches in India to be associated with 24/7 WiFi networks. Like all other beaches of India, this beach also has a lot of activities for tourists; you can do parasailing, boating, jet skiing, and a lot more activities for your trip. However, this is not an ideal beach for honeymoon couples.
